We are looking for a NX CAM Administrator / Postprocessor & Simulation Development to join our team in Pune.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a NX CAM Administrator / Postprocessor & Simulation Development at ENGEL. The individual will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with administrating, developing, and maintaining NX CAM software to support production and development, as well as developing and maintaining postprocessors for different machine types. They will also be responsible for analyzing data and performance of the systems with a focus on optimization and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
· Development and Implementation NX Manufacturing Postprocessors
You will create or install NX CAM Postprocessors for Sinumerik Haidenhain and Fanuc
· Development and Implementation NX Manufacturing Simulations
You will create or install NX CAM Simulations for Sinumerik Haidenhain and Fanuc
· Providing Support to End Users in NX Manufacturing
You will assist our employees in effectively how to use NX Manufacturing
You also work with colleagues on first and second level ticks
· Collaborating with Other IT Teams to Ensure Integration of new function in NX Manufacturing or Postprocessor
You will work closely with colleagues from other IT departments, in the Teamcenter and tool management areas.
· Creating and Updating Documentation and Procedures
You will document our solutions and create user guides.
Qualifications:
· Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a Related Field
You have a solid foundation in IT fundamentals.
· Minimum of 2 Years of Experience in NX Manufacturing and/or Postprocessors/Simulations development.
You have practical experience in developing Postprocessors/Simulations development.
· Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team
You can work autonomously while also being a team player.
· Strong Problem-Solving and Communication Skills
You can analyze complex issues and communicate clearly.
· Fluent English Skills (Both Written and Spoken)
You can communicate and document effectively in English.
· It would be an advantage if you also have experience with the following things
o You have knowledge of the programming languages TCL
o It would also be an advantage if you already have experience with Nx in conjunction with Teamcenter
o You have gained practical experience on production machines such as milling machines or lathes
