Job Description – NX Customization Specialist
Role: NX Customization Specialist
Location: Chennai (Ekkattuthangal)
Experience: 1–2 Years
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 9 Hours (8 Hours Working + 1 Hour Break)
Job Overview
We are looking for an NX Customization Specialist with 1–2 years of experience in Siemens NX customization and automation. The candidate should have strong programming knowledge and hands-on experience in NX Open APIs, UDF development, and Knowledge Fusion.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain NX custom tools, add-ons, and automation scripts using NX Open APIs.
- Design and implement Knowledge Fusion and UDF-based solutions to automate design workflows.
- Customize Siemens NX interface, commands, and workflows based on customer requirements.
- Develop applications using C++, Python, C#, and VB.NET for CAD customization.
- Work closely with engineering and PLM teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
- Create technical documentation and user manuals for developed tools.
- Perform testing, debugging, and deployment of NX customization solutions.
- Support end users and provide technical troubleshooting assistance.
- Participate in project meetings, POCs, and solution discussions with internal teams or clients.
- Suggest improvements and innovative ideas for automation and productivity enhancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Siemens NX customization or CAD automation.
- Exposure to PLM systems (Teamcenter) is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with PLM integration (Teamcenter, APIs)
- Knowledge of scripting and automation frameworks
- Understanding of manufacturing or product design processes
- Experience in version control systems (Git, SVN)
