Summary
Purpose of the Position (Short Summary of the Role):
- Perform NVH (Noise vibration & harshness evaluation) for Platform MQB27-IN (e.g. IN2.0/IN2.5 including all facelifts, PA, Model years -MY), and other projects within EGE department scope
- Declared value measurement and performance analysis. Test execution, data analysis, report preparation for mentioned test and other supported areas
- Prepare test status & presentation in various forum including TCP/SK-MB/VW-WOB
Authority
- NVH exclusive software and hard ware usage, VW group portal tools & system(KPM/VDS)
- Access to Digit for uploading dynamimeasurement
- Recommendation for whole vehicle release (GFF release) for NVH tests
- Proposal for NVH alternative solution/cost optimization
- Support to EGE activities of weight management/ Coast down preparation
- Evaluation of Proving ground w.r.t to NVH and propose conceptual solution to the project

Key Responsibilities &Tasks
- Perform Platform NVH for powertrain, chassis, intake, exhaust etc., testing in PG’s, external labs using industry standard NVH measuring tools and equipment’s for MQB27-IN(Platform +HUT)
- Declared value measurement for emissions, including CO₂, HC, NOx, and particulate matter, using certified driving cycles, dynamic performance measurement
- Analyse data from testing and suggest possible solution towards refinement
- Perform the test for support function or other project as per department dynamic capacity adjustment OR during unavailability of other experts OR as per department/project need. Areas for alternate activities: Weight management, Coast down preparation, Dynamic performance measurement, NVH-HUT testing and other EGE activities.
- Support: To special car preparation like MMD/media cars, Special projects within whole vehicle competency, Other departments within TCP, GQ, Resolution of drive & customer issues, PH.
- Reporting: Preparation of prepare technical reports for the executed test for internal reviews and regulatory submissions. Preparation, tracking and clouser of KPM ticket. Present status of measurements activities and complete MIS for all test performed
- Review the design change request / AEKO / PKO ideas through effective validation and provide recommendations.
- Co-ordinate: active participation in CFT meeting, represent different forums from testing perspective with design, manufacturing and quality teams. Co-operation with different stake holders to mitigate issues observed from testing, components and subsystems.
- Propose part measurement, test plans and changes to be made to the testing process prepare input data for GFF release document
- Ensure: compliance with internal/group/regulatory test processes, standards, and compliances. Continuously review regulatory landscape and suggest developments for NVH and emissions
- Evaluate Proving grounds, external labs, facility from the perspective of test localization. Prepare budget, business case and evaluation for tests
- Usage of VW group systems VDS, KPM, DigiTP, preparation of test guidelines.
- Calibration, upkeep & AMC of responsible instruments within specific test areas. Recommendation for future investment based on technical needs.
- Propose test localization, cost optimization (Idea+) alternative suggestion from testing, Innovation topics.
- Work on other tasks as per project needs within complete EG department
