Role Description
- We are seeking a passionate and scientifically driven Clinical Nutrition Scientist to join our growing team in Hyderabad.
- The ideal candidate will play a key role in translating gut microbiome test reports into actionable nutrition plans, supplement strategies, and contributing to clinical research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Nutrition Counselling (Primary Role)
- Interpret gut microbiome test reports
- Provide personalised dietary recommendations based on microbial imbalances
- Suggest evidence-based supplement protocols (probiotics, prebiotics, micronutrients)
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions (virtual/in-person)
- Document patient progress and follow-ups
2. Personalised Supplement Strategy
- Recommend strain-specific probiotics based on gut report findings
- Support personalised nutraceutical formulation decisions
- Work closely with the clinical team for case-based intervention planning
3. Clinical Research & Publications
- Contribute to development of gut microbiome case studies
- Assist in data compilation and analysis for research publications
- Support manuscript drafting for peer-reviewed journals
- Participate in internal research meetings and clinical discussions.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain structured patient records
- Ensure counselling practices align with regulatory guidelines
- Contribute to SOP development for microbiome-based nutrition protocols
Required Qualifications
- MSc in Clinical Nutrition / Nutrigenomics / Food Science / Dietetics
- 1-3 years of clinical or functional nutrition experience
- Understanding of gut microbiome concepts
- Basic knowledge of probiotics and nutraceuticals
- Strong communication and patient counselling skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience interpreting microbiome reports
- Exposure to research writing or scientific publications
- Understanding of gut brain axis, inflammation, metabolic health
- Comfort with digital health platforms
