Role Description
This is an internship, on-site role for a Nutrition Intern based in Gurugram. Responsibilities include supporting diet planning for patients, providing nutrition education, observing dietary needs, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop individualized nutrition plans. The intern will also contribute to educational efforts regarding proper nutrition and assist in maintaining accurate records of patient dietary progress.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Dietetics and Nutrition to create balanced dietary plans and address specific health needs
- Proficiency in Nutrition Education and the ability to provide informative and supportive guidance to patients
- Effective Communication skills to liaise with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Familiarity with Food & Beverage considerations to ensure appropriate dietary recommendations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field (or current pursuit of such credentials)
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or exposure to oncology is a plus
- A passion for patient care and a commitment to making a positive impact
