We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual interested in financial rewards and long-term career growth.</div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></div><div> </div><ul>
<li>Perform service activities mainly on Nursecall / Door wandering systems</li>
<li>Effectively service panels with hardwired zones with no supervision. </li>
<li>Able to troubleshoot wiring issues such as grounds, shorts and opens.</li>
<li>Manage service issues on-site to ensure fiscal requirements are met.</li>
<li>Manage multiple small to large systems accurately and in an efficient manner.</li>
<li>Identify and sell basic product enhancements to customers.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot systems and perform necessary repairs.</li>
<li>Evaluate and diagnose equipment that requires servicing as well as troubleshoot problems.</li>
<li>Assist in developing training programs for employees and customers.</li>
<li>Provide specific solutions and recommendations to customers on the most efficient and cost effective methods to return equipment to working order.</li>
<li>Survey building systems, consult with building engineers and property managers and make service recommendations to ensure trouble free system performance and compliance with maintenance and testing requirements.</li>
<li>Perform key account maintenance to maintain and strengthen relationships, provide customer status reports, attend sales meetings, interface with commercial property managers and building engineers, review service reports.</li>
<li>Promptly respond to customer needs in a professional and enthusiastic manner.</li>
<li>Submit all required reports, expenses, competitive activity and correspondence in an accurate and timely matter.</li>
<li>Coordinate rescheduling of any services with service coordinator and customer to ensure total customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Updates job knowledge by tracking emerging trends in service; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.</li>
</ul><div><strong>Requirements:</strong></div><div> </div><ul>
<li>Service Technician must be highly motivated and self-starter who can work independently without supervision.</li>
<li>Must be professionally presentable, dependable and have a positive optimistic attitude towards work</li>
<li>Associate’s Degree in Electronics and/or combined 5 or more years of experience as a Service Technician within the Nursecall / Low Voltage Industry.</li>
<li>Experience performing low voltage service on Nuresecall is a must.</li>
<li><strong><em>Advanced knowledge of Tektone / Accutech product lines and demonstrated proficiency in Nursecall / Door wandering systems will be a big PLUS!</em></strong></li>
<li>Strong problem-solving techniques in various electrical products.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to train customers.</li>
<li>Demonstrated high level of customer service and ability to express service solutions in a clear and concise manner.</li>
<li>Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 40lbs and climb ladders and scaffolding.</li>
<li>Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, be proficient in computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Access.</li>
<li>Must be organized, able to work without constant supervision, able to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.</li>
<li>Candidate must be able to read blueprints and/or visually identify system components of systems.</li>
<li>Ability to contribute and operate in a team environment and coordinate with other departments. </li>
<li>Clean California drivers license<br> <br> </li>
