Role: Nutanix & Vmware Admin
Experience: 5 year+
Location: Mumbai
We are looking for a skilled Nutanix Administrator (L2) with hands-on experience in Nutanix AHV and VMware vSphere environments. The candidate will be responsible for L2 support, administration, troubleshooting, and performance management of enterprise virtualization infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Nutanix (Primary – 70%)
- Administer and support Nutanix AHV infrastructure
- Manage Nutanix Prism Element & Prism Central
- Perform VM provisioning, cloning, snapshots, and migrations
- Monitor cluster health, storage, and performance
- Troubleshoot Nutanix cluster issues (Compute/Storage/Network)
- Handle Nutanix upgrades, patching & lifecycle management
- Manage Storage Containers & Storage Policies
- Work on Nutanix AOS & LCM operations
- Configure High Availability & DR policies
- Perform capacity planning and performance tuning
- Incident, problem & change management (ITIL process)
VMware (Secondary – 30%)
- Administer VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter
- Create & manage virtual machines
- Manage vMotion, Storage vMotion
- Configure HA, DRS
- Troubleshoot VM performance issues
- Handle VMware patching and upgrades
- Datastore and resource management
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Nutanix AHV
- Hands-on Prism Central / Prism Element
- Nutanix cluster troubleshooting
- VMware ESXi & vCenter administration
- Virtualization concepts (HA, DRS, vMotion)
- Storage & compute troubleshooting
- L2 production support experience
- ITIL process knowledge
Good to Have
- Nutanix Certification (NCA / NCP)
- VMware certification (VCP)
- DR replication knowledge
- Backup tools (Veeam / Commvault / Rubrik)
- Basic networking knowledge
