About the Team This role will be part of the Serviceability Team at Nutanix, located in Bangalore, India. The team is composed of highly skilled and passionate Engineers dedicated to enhancing product and customer experiences. The culture within the team fosters collaboration, growth, and innovation, with a strong focus on bridging the gaps between Product, Engineering, and Support. The mission of the Support Readiness team is to ensure that customer-facing teams are well-prepared for product launches, releases, and process changes, providing them with clear and concise information about Nutanix products to enable exceptional service delivery to customers. You will report to the Manager, Support Readiness, who emphasizes a collaborative and supportive leadership style that values input from team members and promotes flexibility within the work environment. The work setup for this role is hybrid, with employees expected to be in the office 3 days per week, allowing for a balance between remote work and in-person collaboration as needed by the team. This role may require some travel, although specific travel needs will be determined based on project demands and company policy. Your Role Create and maintain technical documentation, KB articles, and FAQs for the Support team and customers. Develop interactive training materials to empower Support Engineers and enhance their problem-solving capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Support Engineers and Product Teams, to ensure documentation is current and accurate. Optimize Knowledge Base content for improved searchability and accessibility while implementing SEO best practices. Continuously gather feedback from users to improve documentation quality and content strategy. Measure the impact of content on case deflection and adjust strategies based on analytics and support data. Facilitate effective communication among team members to promote collaboration and a supportive work environment. Meet established deadlines for documentation projects while managing multiple priorities and contributing to team objectives. What You Will Bring 5+ years of technical writing experience in support, SaaS, or enterprise software environments. Proficiency in creating and managing technical documentation and training materials. Strong ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, concise content. Experience with knowledge management systems and documentation tools (e.g., DITA, Confluence). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Basic understanding of HTML, Markdown, or CMS platforms. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines effectively.
