Senior Software Engineer, Kubernetes

We're looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to join our Kubernetes engineering team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining core Kubernetes components and integrations. You'll work closely with our product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable Kubernetes capabilities to our customers. Core Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain core Kubernetes components and integrations - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver Kubernetes features and enhancements - Develop and maintain robust test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of Kubernetes features - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers - Stay up-to-date with the latest Kubernetes developments and contribute to the broader Kubernetes community Required Skills and Experience: - 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in systems programming - Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies - Proficient in Go, Python, or other systems programming languages - Familiarity with distributed systems, networking, and storage concepts - Experience with test-driven development and containerization techniques - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills
