We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The Infrastructure team is responsible for building and scaling the platforms that power Nutanix's engineering and developer environments. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating mission-critical infrastructure services that enable our global engineering organization to be productive and innovative. You will work closely with other software engineers, infrastructure architects, and product managers to understand requirements and implement solutions that meet the needs of our internal and external customers. This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-impact problems and to have a significant influence on the direction of Nutanix's engineering infrastructure. What You'll Do: - Design, build, and operate scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly-available infrastructure services - Automate operational tasks and workflows to increase efficiency and reliability - Implement monitoring and observability solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues - Contribute to the team's technical vision and roadmap - Mentor junior engineers and share your expertise with the broader team What You'll Need: - 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, infrastructure engineer, or SRE - Expertise in building and operating cloud-native infrastructure services (e.g., Kubernetes, containers, serverless) - Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Go, or Rust - Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible - Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Elasticsearch - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
