Role Description The Nursing Tutor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh. The tutor will deliver structured lectures and tutorials for nursing exam preparation, including Nursing Officer and other competitive exams, following the academy’s curriculum and guidelines. Daily responsibilities include planning lesson content, teaching in classroom settings, conducting doubt-clearing sessions, and providing individualized academic support and mentorship. The tutor will also develop and review study materials, practice questions, and mock tests, and help maintain an engaging, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment. Additional tasks may involve collaborating with faculty on curriculum improvements, tracking student progress, and participating in academic workshops or review meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Nursing and Nursing Education, with up-to-date knowledge of clinical concepts and exam patterns.
- Demonstrated experience in Tutoring and Lecturing, ideally in nursing or healthcare-related subjects.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to diverse learners.
- Relevant nursing qualification (e.g., B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience coaching students for nursing competitive exams is highly beneficial.
- Ability to design lesson plans, assessment materials, and mock tests aligned with exam requirements.
- Commitment to student success, mentorship, and maintaining a respectful, inclusive classroom environment.
- Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and readiness to work in a structured, full-time academy setting.
