Role Description The Nursing Incharge is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru East, responsible for leading and coordinating nursing services within the senior care facility. This role oversees the nursing team, manages daily patient care activities, and ensures adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines. The Nursing Incharge collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement care, supervises medication administration, and monitors residents’ health status, especially those requiring critical or transition care. Day-to-day responsibilities include staffing and shift management, training and mentoring nursing personnel, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, communicating with families regarding care plans, and supporting quality improvement initiatives aligned with Antara’s service ethos.
Qualifications
- Strong nursing management and leadership skills, with experience supervising and coordinating nursing teams.
- Sound knowledge of nursing practices and patient care, with the ability to deliver compassionate, person-centered senior care.
- Clinical expertise in medicine and critical care medicine relevant to geriatric and assisted living settings.
- Valid nursing qualification (GNM/BSc Nursing or equivalent) and registration with the appropriate nursing council.
- Experience in senior care, assisted living, hospital or long-term care settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with residents and families.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and emergency response skills, with a focus on quality and safety.
- Willingness to work in shifts as required and uphold Antara’s values of empathy, integrity, and “sevabhav.”
