Role Description The Nursing Educator at Military Brat Defence Academy is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing and delivering nursing education content aligned with Defence healthcare requirements and standards. Daily tasks include planning and conducting interactive online classes, preparing lesson materials, demonstrations, and case-based learning activities, and supporting learners through doubt-clearing sessions, assignments, and feedback. The role involves developing and updating curriculum content, integrating clinical best practices and current guidelines, and contributing to recorded lectures, assessments, and mock exams. The Nursing Educator will collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency in teaching, maintain accurate learner progress records, and participate in academic meetings and program improvements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Training skills, with experience delivering structured nursing or healthcare education.
- Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills, including curriculum design, learning objective development, and assessment creation.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear online instruction, active listening, and constructive feedback.
- Professional nursing qualification (e.g., registered nurse) and relevant clinical experience in hospital or Defence/critical care settings.
- Experience in academic or clinical education, simulation-based training, or exam preparation coaching is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with digital tools and online teaching platforms, including video conferencing and learning management systems.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in a remote work environment, and commitment to learner success and ethical practice.
- Postgraduate degree in Nursing, Education, or a related field is an advantage.
