About the role

I'm looking for a YouTube video editor to join my growing channel, Nurses to Riches (70K+ subs), where I help nurses increase their income and reach financial freedom. I publish podcast-style interviews, talking-head educational content, and short-form videos. Your main job is to make sure every video hooks the viewer and keeps them watching. You'll work on 1–2 videos per week, with consistent hours and clear expectations. If your work is solid, I will increase your salary as my income grows. Ideal Candidate You're obsessed with clean edits, smart pacing, and elevating educational content. You know how to: Cut the fluff and keep viewers engaged Punch in, punch out, and drop B-roll/memes like a pro Use dynamic captions and motion graphics (especially for shorts) Edit in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (no CapCut or iMovie) Communicate clearly and hit deadlines without being chased You study channels like Kallaway, Alex Hormozi, Ed Lawrence, My First Million, I Will Teach You To Be Rich and think in terms of viewer retention, not just good-looking cuts. Job Requirements Pro-level skills in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve Experience editing: • Talking-head & educational content (8–15 min) • Podcast-style interviews (up to 60 min) • Shorts/reels with motion text and memes Must be able to source relevant B-roll, stock, and memes Must understand YouTube storytelling and retention editing Portfolio required Optional test edit requested: Dropbox Link (Only edit a 60-sec sample of this video in a long-form format)
