Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Nurses based at Yashoda Medicity-Group of Hospitals in Delhi, India. Nurses will provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications and treatments, assisting with procedures, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. They will coordinate with doctors and allied health professionals, support admissions and discharges, and ensure adherence to hospital protocols and infection control standards. The role involves educating patients and families about care plans, post-treatment instructions, and preventive health practices. Nurses will also participate in emergency response, quality improvement activities, and ongoing training to align with advanced technologies and clinical practices used in the hospital.
Qualifications
- Recognized nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc Nursing, or equivalent) and valid nursing registration from the appropriate council.
- Clinical expertise in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of post-operative and critical care patients.
- Strong knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and evidence-based nursing practices in acute care settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, technicians, and allied health professionals.
- Effective communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to explain procedures and care plans clearly to patients and families.
- Comfort with using hospital information systems, electronic medical records, and basic medical equipment; willingness to learn and adapt to advanced technologies.
- Demonstrated empathy, resilience, and professionalism in high-pressure environments, including emergency and trauma care.
- Prior experience in tertiary or quaternary care hospitals, critical care, emergency, or specialty units is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by patient care needs.
