Sprouts Child Development Centre, Gurugram is looking for a passionate and caring Nursery Teacher to work with our children with developmental and special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging classroom activities for preschool-aged children.
- Support children's cognitive, language, social, and emotional development.
- Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Special Educators.
- Implement individualized learning strategies under professional guidance.
- Maintain classroom records and communicate regularly with parents.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) qualified candidates with a genuine interest in working with children with developmental and special needs are also encouraged to apply.
- B.Ed. candidates with a genuine interest in working with children with developmental and special needs are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with children aged 3–12 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, or other developmental conditions will be an added advantage.
- Ability to plan and conduct structured learning, pre-academic, play-based, and functional classroom activities.
- Strong communication, observation, behaviour management, and classroom management skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting children with diverse learning needs.
- Willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team comprising Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists, Special Educators, and Psychologists.
