Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in the Greater Hyderabad Area for the role of Nursery Officers and Extension Officers within the Oil Palm Division. The role involves overseeing nursery operations, monitoring plant growth, and implementing best practices for oil palm cultivation. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with farmers, providing guidance and training on sustainable agricultural practices, and ensuring effective execution of plantation development plans. The candidate will also contribute to the company’s initiatives aimed at improving farmer outcomes and boosting productivity.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in nursery management, plant propagation techniques, and oil palm cultivation.
- Proficiency in providing agricultural extension services, including farmer training and capacity building initiatives.
- Strong skills in record-keeping, monitoring, and evaluating plant health and growth.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with farmers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage field activities in an on-site role.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in plantation or agriculture development projects is advantageous.
