Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nurse / Phlebotomist role based in Dadri. The Nurse / Phlebotomist will perform venipuncture and collect blood and other specimens following standard safety and hygiene protocols. Responsibilities include preparing patients for sample collection, verifying patient identity, labeling and handling specimens accurately, and coordinating with the laboratory for timely processing. The role also involves basic nursing care such as checking vital signs, assisting with ECG procedures and doctor consultations, and monitoring patient comfort before, during, and after procedures. The Nurse / Phlebotomist will maintain accurate records, support patient education on pre- and post-test instructions, and uphold infection control, quality, and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy, including venipuncture, capillary sampling, and safe specimen handling.
- Experience in basic nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with procedures, and supporting patient comfort.
- Strong knowledge of infection control, hygiene practices, and safety protocols in clinical and laboratory settings.
- Ability to manage documentation accurately, maintain patient records, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively and respectfully with patients and clinical teams.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.
- Relevant nursing or phlebotomy certification/diploma from a recognized institution; current registration or license as required by local regulations.
- Previous experience in pathology labs, diagnostic centers, or hospital/clinic settings is an advantage.
