Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in functional testing and Web API testing. This role involves testing complex web applications to ensure the highest levels of quality and performance. Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium is a plus but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute detailed test cases for functional, integration, regression, and system testing

Perform end-to-end functional testing of web applications

Conduct thorough Web API testing, including validation of status codes, headers, payloads, and authentication mechanisms using tools like Postman or Swagger

Log, track, and manage defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)

Collaborate with development, business, and QA teams to ensure proper coverage and understanding of requirements

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and estimations

Provide clear documentation of test results and defects

Mandatory Requirements

3+ years of experience in manual testing

Strong hands-on experience in functional testing of web applications

Proven experience in Web API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar

Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies

Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools

Good knowledge of SQL for database validations

Strong communication and analytical skills

Nice To Have

Basic understanding of automation tools like Selenium

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
