Maintenance & Engineering Manager (Brandenburg, KY, US, 40108)

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Brandenburg is seeking a leader for the position of Maintenance & Engineering Manager. This Department Manager level position reports directly to the General Manager.  

Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Leadership role in ensuring safety is instilled as a value; develop and grow our culture and teammates and be a catalyst to our division maximizing profitability.
• Lead the maintenance and engineering operations by building trust and creating an atmosphere of open and honest communication, with the maintenance and engineering teams, and all departments will be essential in this role.

This position will also require the ability to think strategically, analyze data and situations, negotiate effectively, and drive change. Additionally, this position will work collaboratively with the entire team to motivate and inspire the overall operation as part of the Leadership Team. Finally, as a part of the Manager group you will be expected to effectively contribute in running the entire division.

Minimum Qualifications:

Three years of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Maintenance Experience
•    4-year degree or equivalent experience in a related field
