Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with leadership and internal stakeholders to drive fragrance development and innovation across multiple brands and categories.
- Evaluate and guide fragrance creation through expert sensory assessment, ensuring alignment with brand identity, consumer preference, and product positioning.
- Act as a bridge between consumer expectations, business objectives, and the technical capabilities of perfumers and formulation teams.
- Conduct technical evaluation of fragrance samples, providing recommendations on stability-tested formulations, reformulations, and product reworks.
- Build deep expertise in raw materials, fragrance ingredients, olfactory families, and emerging market and consumer trends.
- Continuously benchmark new creations and market products through fragrance evaluation, sensory analysis, and structured fragrance profiling.
- Collaborate with R&D, brand, and external fragrance partners to drive fragrance excellence across the product lifecycle.
- Maintain high standards of fragrance quality, consistency, and performance through ongoing evaluation and refinement.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant experience in perfumery, fragrance evaluation, fragrance development, or related domains within beauty, personal care, FMCG, or fragrance houses.
- Educational background in Chemistry, Perfumery, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fragrance composition, olfactory families, raw materials, and formulation considerations.
- Exceptional sensory evaluation skills with a highly developed olfactory ability (“expert nose”).
- Experience working with fragrance houses, perfumers, product development teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
