Role Description
Support new product development of automotive components/systems (APQP process).
Assist in design, DFMEA/PFMEA, and engineering changes (ECN/ECR).
Prepare and maintain 2D/3D drawings, BOM, specifications, and PPAP documents.
Coordinate with Quality, Production, Supplier, and Purchase teams.
Participate in proto build, pilot run, validation testing, and trials.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer standards, and automotive requirements.
Work on cost reduction (VA/VE), localization, and continuous improvement.
Support tooling development, line setup, and SOP (Start of Production).
Analyze customer issues, field failures, and implement corrective actions (8D).
Qualifications/Skill
- Strong problem-solving ability and technical aptitude
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Diploma in Mechanical or related Engineering disciplines
- Prior experience in the automotive industry is a plus
- Experience 6 months to 2 Years
- CTC - 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA
