Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a New Product Development (NPD) Engineer based in Rohtak, Haryana. The NPD Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative fastening solutions tailored to client specifications. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, feasibility studies, product testing, and implementing process improvements. The role will also involve preparing technical documentation, coordinating with manufacturing teams, and ensuring new products meet quality and safety standards. Effective communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables will be an essential aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge in product design, process development, and manufacturing practices
- Experience in market research, data analysis, and feasibility studies
- Proficiency in CAD software and technical documentation preparation
- Skills in testing processes, quality control, and safety standards compliance
- Project management and cross-functional team collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in fastener or related products, is a plus
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in manufacturing is advantageous
