Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a New Product Development (NPD) Engineer, based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The NPD Engineer will lead and manage new product development projects, including designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating prototypes. Responsibilities also include conducting research and analysis, ensuring product quality, and working to streamline production for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The role will involve addressing technical challenges, meeting customer requirements, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in New Product Development and prototyping techniques
- Strong skills in tool design, manufacturing process development, and optimization
- Ability to perform research, data analysis, and problem-solving with precision
- Knowledge of precision sheet metal stamping, fine blanking, and welded assemblies
- Familiarity with CAD software and technical documentation
- Effective project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry is an advantage
