Job Title: Manager / Assistant Manager – NPA Identification & Reporting
Location: Kolkata
Experience Required: 3–5 Years
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
Role Purpose:
The role is responsible for managing NPA identification, classification, monitoring, and regulatory reporting in compliance with RBI guidelines and internal bank policies. The candidate will work closely with Risk, Finance, Audit, and Operations teams to ensure accurate reporting, provisioning, and portfolio monitoring of stressed assets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identification and classification of NPA accounts as per RBI IRAC norms
• Monitoring SMA/NPA accounts and ensuring timely reporting
• Preparation and validation of NPA-related MIS, dashboards, and management reports
• Handling RBI/CRILC/CIC reporting and related regulatory submissions
• Verification of provisioning calculations, write-offs, recoveries, and restructuring data
• Ensuring compliance with RBI guidelines on asset classification and provisioning
• Coordination with Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, and Concurrent Audit teams
• Analysis of delinquency trends, roll rates, and portfolio risk indicators
• Supporting automation/process improvement initiatives for NPA reporting
• Maintaining proper documentation, trackers, and audit readiness for regulatory reviews
• Liaising with business and collections teams for data validation and account monitoring
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong understanding of RBI IRAC norms and NPA management
• Experience in banking/NBFC regulatory reporting
• Knowledge of provisioning, restructuring, and recovery processes
• Strong analytical and MIS reporting skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
• Good understanding of banking operations and credit monitoring
• Ability to work with large data sets and maintain high accuracy
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Eligibility Criteria:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Banking/NBFC sector
• Experience in NPA reporting, audit, risk, or regulatory compliance preferred
• Candidates with exposure to RBI reporting and provisioning processes will be preferred
