Xavier Catholic Schools is hiring a Morning Dish Room Attendant to join the Food Service Team at Xavier High School! This is a part-time, morning position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-High School Education or GED required,
-Prior food service or related field experience preferred
-Enthusiastic supporter of the Catholic faith and schools
-Flexible, adaptive, and cooperative

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all health department guidelines and regulations
- Set up dish room for the day
- Wash all morning trays, pots, pans, utensils, etc. and put away
- Record temperature of dishwasher
- Assume lunch dish room duties, such as wash, dry and put away dishes/trays on a rotating basis
- Serve on lunch line
- Tear down and clean lunch line
- Count all remaining fresh fruits and vegetables; record on production sheet
- Wipe down lunch tables after lunch
- De-lime dishwasher each week
- Assist co-workers in other areas, as needed
- Take required classes and training
- Take out garbage and recyclables
- Sweep and mop floors
- Perform heavy duty cleaning
- Help unload weekly truck
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, talk, reach, sit, hear,
handle and perform repetitive motions of the hands/wrists. Lifts and moves items up to 20 pounds.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a school setting. Employees may be required to attend an occasional meeting
