The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Advisor Practice team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting financial advisors while contributing to meaningful client service and operational initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is known for curiosity and strong organizational skills.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of client data within internal systems
- Gather and maintain comprehensive client records to support compliance and service excellence
- Support advisors and client service teams with administrative tasks, including paperwork preparation and meeting follow-ups
- Coordinate with custodians and internal partners to support account servicing needs
- Collaborate with internal business units to complete projects and deliver client solutions
- Participate in job shadowing, mentorship, and special projects across the practice
- Assist with planning and execution of client events and engagement initiatives
- Partner with fellow interns to research, analyze, and present solutions to real-world business challenges
What You Bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Business Management, Economics, or related field
- Preferably a junior or senior in an undergraduate program
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment
- Professional demeanor and interest in client relationship management
- Prior coursework or experience in financial services preferred but not required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required
Compensation
The hourly rate for this role is $20.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for Employee Sick & Safe Time (ESST). For more details on ESST, visit the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry's website.
