Hardware Engineering Co-op Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Duration: 6 months Start Date: January 2023 Everything we do at Northeastern University is to enable students and faculty to advance knowledge and create solutions for the betterment of society. We are committed to experiential learning through co-ops, study abroad, and undergraduate research. The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department is seeking a Hardware Engineering Co-op to join our team for a 6-month co-op experience starting in January 2023. This is an exciting opportunity to work on hardware design and development projects under the guidance of our experienced faculty and staff. Responsibilities: - Assist in the design and development of hardware systems - Participate in testing and validation of hardware components - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project execution - Contribute to documentation and reporting - Attend regular project meetings and provide updates Requirements: - Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field - Strong background in digital logic design, embedded systems, and hardware development - Familiarity with hardware design tools and programming languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL, C/C++) - Effective communication and teamwork skills - Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude - Ability to work independently and in a team environment
