2026-2027 School Office Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) for Meadowbrook Elementary School
Salary: $20,000 - $26,000
Benefits Eligibility: Eligible for part-time benefits for classified personnel
Work Year: 8/17/2026 - 5/28/2027
Daily Schedule: To be assigned by Principal
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree preferred; to perform this job successfully, an individual must have exceptional communication and customer service skills, an ability to contribute to a team environment, excellent multi-tasking skills, technology expertise especially with Google Suite; experience managing grants is desired

Assistant Superintendent
Performance Responsibilities:
- Manage daily staff and student attendance
- Communicate with parents regarding all aspects of the school and programming
- Answer telephone, respond to questions, set appointments or route calls to appropriate personnel
- Manage timesheet procedures
- Budget maintenance, ordering, and supply management
- Manage school-wide Google calendars
- Manage student enrollment and residency processes
- Coordinate with outside lunch providers
- Create and type correspondence, letters, memos and forms
- Prepare purchase orders, check requests, bank deposits, budget
- Receive visitors, parents, and students utilizing safety protocols
- Maintain school records, including cumulative files
- Act as liaison between school and community, volunteer groups, principal, parents, staff and students
- Help to secure substitutes for all building staff
- Coordinate daily substitute teachers, maintain records, and report substitute teacher service to District Administration staff as needed
- Process records transfer requests
- Other duties as assigned by building principal and/or the District Office
Terms of Employment:
10 Month Position; salary and benefits as determined annually by the D28 Board of Education
