Specialist Biomedical Scientist

We are offering the opportunity to be part of this organisation as we currently have vacancies for Biomedical Scientists at Band 6 level to join the team in Microbiology in the hub on the Charing Cross site. We are looking for individuals who are motivated and committed to being part of a team that delivers a quality service to patients. The successful candidates MUST hold a Specialist Diploma or equivalent and have, as a minimum, 2 years post registration experience and must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills covering the different areas of Microbiology. Experience of working across all sections in Microbiology is therefore essential. Previous use of Kiestra and Urimast would be considered an advantage. High attention to detail is a critical requirement of this post. Previous work experience in a busy hospital laboratory is essential. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development is also essential..The appointed persons will be required to work across a 7 day working pattern, working 37.5 hours/week.Applicants must have a desire to learn and develop within our busy laboratory.
