What You’ll Do:
- Assists with coordinating all aspects of catering events, including meetings, weddings, banquets, and conferences
- Communicate with clients to confirm event details (menus, timelines, room setup, guest count)
- Assist in preparing banquet event orders (BEOs) and distribute them to relevant departments
- Liaise with kitchen, banquet staff, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution
- Assist in menu planning and accommodate dietary restrictions or special requests
- Maintain detailed records of events, contracts, and client communications
- Handle last-minute changes or issues professionally and efficiently
- Support post-event follow-up, including posting banquet charges and collecting deposits
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (hospitality degree preferred)
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or event planning a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Experience with Delphi FDC preferred
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and familiarity with banquet service standards a plus
