About the role

Description

  • Assemble gearboxes per work order instructions.
  • Check work orders for accuracy.
  • Visually inspect parts for quality.
  • Test units for audible noises.
  • Rework and correct any noise or leakage problems.
  • Maintain the 5S program and Kanban system.
  • Be an active participant in the company’s suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost savings programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous assembly or mechanical experience preferred.
  • Skills and Key Attributes: Strong mechanical aptitude, detail-oriented, with basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to stand on feet and move around for up to 8-12 hours per day.
