Job Title: Relationship Manager – Insurance Sales

Job Summary:
Non-motor Relationship Manager – Insurance is responsible for managing and developing relationships with individual clients to promote and sell a wide range of insurance products, including Motor, Health, Life, Marine, Fire, and other general insurance policies. The role focuses on generating new business, ensuring renewals, providing excellent customer support, and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage strong relationships with retail customers to identify their insurance requirements and offer suitable solutions.
- Possess strong knowledge of insurance products such as Motor, Health, Life, Marine, Fire, and other general insurance policies.
- Generate new business through lead generation, referrals, renewals, and walk-in clients.
- Explain product features, coverage, terms, and premium options effectively to clients.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, endorsements, renewals, and policy issuance.
- Ensure timely renewals and premium collections for existing clients.
- Provide post-sales assistance, including claim support and documentation follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date MIS reports on sales, renewals, and client activities.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall branch growth.
- Stay informed about industry updates, product changes, and competitor offerings.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Motor, Health, Life, Marine, Fire, and other insurance products.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer relationship management and service orientation.
- Ability to multitask and meet sales and renewal deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and insurance portals.
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduate in Business, Commerce, or Insurance Management.
- 1–3 years of experience in retail insurance sales or client servicing.
- IRDA certification mandatory or must be obtained within the probation period.
