NOKIA Network Designer
Location: Banglore/Chennai
Experience: 4-10 years in Networking (Service Provider/ISP preferred)
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled NOKIA Network Designer with strong experience in service provider/ISP environments. The role focuses on executing network designs using Nokia 7750 SR platforms, including configuration, deployment, and validation aligned with approved High-Level Designs (HLDs).
Key Responsibilities
- Implement network solutions based on approved High-Level Designs (HLDs)
- Prepare and execute Method of Procedure (MoP) documents for network changes
- Develop and validate Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for implementation activities
- Perform configuration, integration, and deployment of network devices
- Execute implementation activities with minimal service disruption
- Coordinate with design, operations, and customer teams for smooth execution
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation and rollout phases
- Ensure adherence to best practices, change management, and quality standards
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)
- MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching)
- IS-IS (Intermediate System to Intermediate System)
- Proven experience in network implementation / fulfilment
- Hands-on expertise in configuration and deployment of service provider networks
- Strong understanding of:
- Routing & Switching
- Network protocols and architecture
- Change and release management processes
Platform Expertise
- Mandatory experience with Nokia 7750 SR routers
Certifications
- Nokia Certification – NRS I (NR1) / NRS II (NR2)
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in ISP / Telecom / Service Provider environments
- Strong exposure to implementation and rollout projects
- Ability to prepare and execute MoPs independently
- Good communication skills and ability to work with customer teams
