Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Node.js Developer for a full-time remote role. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications using Node.js. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust APIs, ensure application performance, and integrate third-party services. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting, optimizing deployment pipelines, and driving code quality through best practices. This position requires proactivity in contributing to team discussions and staying updated with industry trends.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript development, including working with asynchronous programming.
- Experience with RESTful API design, integration, and development.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
- Proficiency in database technologies like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker.
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Previous experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
