Description:
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining eCommerce applications
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of authentication, security, and scalable application design
eCommerce Experience:
- Experience working with platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, CommerceTools, or custom eCommerce solutions
- Strong understanding of shopping carts, checkout flows, payment gateway integrations, order management, inventory, pricing, and promotions
- Experience integrating third-party APIs for shipping, payments, and tax calculations
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js
- Build scalable APIs and microservices for eCommerce applications
- Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, and other third-party services
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement enhancements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
