Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Node.js Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs based on Node.js. Your daily tasks will include writing scalable and efficient code, collaborating with front-end and design teams, troubleshooting and debugging, optimizing application performance, and ensuring security best practices. You will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and improvements in existing application infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or Koa.js
- Experience with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
- Strong understanding of server-side programming, RESTful API development, and microservices architecture
- Skills in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Proficiency in working with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
