Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support seamless communication between systems.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Manage and deploy applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js development with coding in TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of TypeScript, ES6+, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with frameworks/libraries like Express.js or Nest.js.
- Proficiency in working with databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API development.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with serverless architecture on AWS.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or Jest.
- Understanding of front-end technologies like React or Angular for seamless integration.
