Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer responsible for building scalable server-side applications and APIs. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to develop high-performance web applications.
Domain: Preferred product-based engineering or automotive domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Design and implement database schemas (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
- Debug and resolve production issues
- Participate in code reviews and system architecture discussions
Required Skills
- Strong experience with JavaScript and Node.js
- Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify
- Knowledge of REST API development
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of asynchronous programming
- Experience with Git version control
- Familiarity with JWT authentication
- Basic knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of GraphQL
- Experience with Redis or message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 4–7 years experience in backend development using Node.js
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of TypeScript
- Experience with serverless architecture
- Understanding of security best practices
