Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Node.js backend development
- Strong experience in building RESTful APIs
- Solid experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Experience working in microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with Redis integration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, or Loopback
- Knowledge of authentication & authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis Pub/Sub)
- Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, and Kubernetes
- Understanding of serverless architecture
- Exposure to frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue.js)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong understanding of backend security best practices
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js
- Develop backend services using Fastify or similar frameworks
- Integrate Redis and PostgreSQL databases efficiently
- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of applications
- Implement logging, monitoring, and error handling for production systems
- Collaborate with frontend teams for seamless API integrations
- Write and maintain unit tests (Jest, Mocha, Chai)
- Participate in code reviews and sprint planning
- Work with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments
- Contribute to VM-based and cloud deployments
