Job Title: Node.js Developer (2+ Years Experience)
Location: Goregaon, Mumbai (Hybrid)
Experience Required: 2+ Years
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with 2+ years of experience in building scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js, Sequelize ORM, and MySQL, along with a good understanding of RESTful API design and database management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js
- Design and build RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
- Work with Sequelize ORM to manage database operations efficiently
- Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL databases
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of applications
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
- Participate in code reviews and improve development practices
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
- Hands-on experience with Sequelize ORM
- Solid understanding of MySQL database design and queries
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and promises
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Basic understanding of authentication (JWT, sessions)
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu/CentOS) and server management
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, DNS)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
