About The Role
Join DAZN Hyderabad as a Backend Developer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sports streaming technology. We are seeking passionate and skilled professionals with strong expertise in Node.js to develop scalable, efficient backend services that support our global OTT platform. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain microservices and APIs that are vital for delivering high-quality streaming experiences to millions of users worldwide. Your contributions will directly impact the performance, reliability, and scalability of our platform, ensuring that DAZN remains at the forefront of sports entertainment technology.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in backend development with proven experience in Node.js and related technologies. Candidates should have a strong understanding of cloud computing environments, particularly AWS, and familiarity with modern development practices such as CI/CD. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Additionally, experience working in Agile teams and excellent problem-solving skills are essential. Knowledge of database management, messaging systems, and caching solutions will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust backend services using Node.js with TypeScript to support our streaming platform.
- Create scalable APIs and microservices that ensure high availability, low latency, and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, emphasizing testability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and ensure continuous integration.
- Monitor application performance, conduct code reviews, and optimize systems for scalability and security.
- Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
