About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in Node.js and related backend technologies, with hands-on experience in building scalable REST APIs and working with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB. This role involves developing robust backend solutions that support our platform's growth and performance objectives. The candidate should have a solid understanding of distributed systems, message queues, and DevOps practices to ensure high availability, security, and efficiency of our services. Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a backend developer.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js framework.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Knowledge of REST API development, integration, and best practices.
- Familiarity with caching mechanisms and session management using Redis.
- Experience working with message queues or brokers such as Bull, RabbitMQ, or similar systems.
- Basic understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud deployment models.
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js to support platform features and integrations.
- Optimize database queries and data models for PostgreSQL and MongoDB to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Implement caching strategies, session management, and performance enhancements utilizing Redis.
- Work with message queues and brokers to facilitate asynchronous processing and task execution.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and high performance of backend services through best practices and continuous improvements.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless solutions.
- Participate in DevOps activities such as deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
