About The Role
We are seeking a talented Node.js Developer to join our Technology & Transformation practice in Pune. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications based on Node.js. Your expertise will help transform complex business challenges into innovative technology solutions that deliver measurable value.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js frameworks, particularly Nest.js. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop microservices architectures, implement best coding practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3-7 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Node.js and front-end frameworks like React or Next.js.
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in Node.js frameworks, especially Nest.js.
Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code.
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, Jasmine, Chai, or Sinon.
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is a plus.
Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless computing is desirable.
Good understanding of DevOps tools and practices.
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Certifications in cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS are advantageous.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient Node.js applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, particularly using React or Next.js.
Implement and maintain microservices architectures, ensuring seamless communication and data flow across systems.
Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and robustness.
Participate in code reviews, static code analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously enhance application performance and security.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Support the development of innovative solutions aligned with client needs and organizational goals.
