About The Role
Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.
This role is focused on developing high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using Node.js, React, and related technologies. You will be an integral part of our software development team, working on innovative solutions that support our clients' digital transformation journeys. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, leveraging modern frameworks and tools to deliver impactful software solutions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 3 to 7 years of professional experience in software development is required. Preferred candidates will have experience working with Node.js and React frameworks, along with a strong understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern development practices. Certifications in cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS are advantageous but not mandatory. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using Node.js (Nest.js preferred) and React/Next.js frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Create and execute comprehensive unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Implement and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures, including containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, embracing DevOps practices.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development processes.
- Assist in database management, working with SQL and NoSQL systems to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Engage in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative environment focused on innovation and excellence.
