About The Role
We are seeking a talented Node.js Developer to join our dynamic Technology & Transformation practice in Pune. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications built on Node.js. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that leverage the latest technologies such as microservices, cloud computing, and automation tools. Your expertise will contribute to delivering innovative solutions that help clients unlock value from their data and achieve their strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Node.js Developer.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks, particularly Nest.js.
- Proven ability to write effective unit tests using frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, Jasmine, Chai, or Sinon.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean coding standards.
- Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and serverless computing is a plus.
- Understanding of DevOps tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and utilize static code review tools.
- Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and debugging capabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable Node.js applications using best practices and coding standards.
- Build and maintain microservices architectures, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and robustness.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and adhering to quality standards.
- Integrate applications with various data sources and third-party services.
- Optimize application performance through effective code and architecture improvements.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance skills and project outcomes.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications in cloud environments.
- Document technical specifications, design decisions, and user guides for ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
