NOC Manager RACI Database
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated NOC Manager to join our team in a permanent capacity. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing Network Operations Center (NOC) functions, with a specific focus on managing and optimizing our RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) database. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring the robust and efficient operation of our critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day NOC operations, ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of all network and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the RACI database and associated processes to clearly define roles and responsibilities across incident, problem, and change management lifecycles.
- Oversee and actively participate in incident management, driving timely resolution and effective communication to stakeholders.
- Manage problem management initiatives to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement preventative measures.
- Ensure adherence to all defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and drive continuous improvement of NOC processes and procedures.
- Supervise the utilization and effectiveness of monitoring tools and ticketing systems, identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning within the NOC team, providing mentorship and guidance.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of progressive experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) environments.
- Proven expertise in NOC Operations, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
- Strong understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and experience in monitoring and reporting against them.
- Proficiency with various Monitoring Tools and Ticketing Systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Solid knowledge of core Network Protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF).
- Familiarity with major Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Demonstrated experience in Team Leadership, including coaching, performance management, and resource allocation.
- Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong Problem Solving and Decision Making abilities, especially under pressure.
- Commitment to Security Awareness and best practices.
- Proven ability to drive Process Improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with building or managing RACI matrices specifically for IT operations.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA Network+, CCNA).
- Experience with scripting or automation for NOC tasks.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
