Certification CCNP or CCIE Written
Qualification Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Telecom Engineering

Cisco, Huawei, HP, H3C, Juniper Routers & Switches

SD WAN technologies
Data Center security and next generation firewalls
Scripting (Python, NodeJS etc).

Job Function
1. Handle Level 2 tickets raised by L1 NOC Team
2. Respond to Customer / other department queries regarding incidents using calls, emails,
messaging tools etc.
3. Perform troubleshooting on Routers, Switches, Firewalls and related network
4. Expert in Routing & Switching, DC and SP Routing domain
5. Update trouble tickets using customer Incident management system
6. Engage TAC and handle TAC case till resolution of problem
7. Perform Escalation management using established NOC procedures and tools
8. Perform above tasks within established NOC SLAs
9. Produce and organize printed and electronic reports
10. Coordinate and maintain a log of request activities of help desk
11. Prioritize service request according to importance of emergency
12. Update customer status of problem resolution as per SLA
13. Work in a 24x7 duty roster as per shift schedule
14. Actively maintain vendor SLA and document it
15. Create change management documents, perform network upgrade as per approved
change activities
16. Maintain and operations end customer network as per vendor best practices and end
customer baseline configurations
17. Provide quality and performance reporting as per customer requirements
