Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Engineering – QA Engineer to join our remote team in India. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, strong knowledge of Android and embedded operating systems, and a background in testing apps on OEM platforms. You will play a key role in testing the SXM application on various operating systems, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Perform QA testing of the SXM application on OEM devices across platforms including Linux, QNX, Android, and AAOS (Android Automotive OS). Debug, test, and report issues clearly and effectively. Set up and maintain test labs and testing environments. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Document test cases, results, and defects accurately. Required Skills: Experience with Android/ADB (Android Debug Bridge) Proficiency with Charles Proxy for network traffic analysis Strong background in manual testing Familiarity with QNX and Linux operating systems Experience testing mobile or embedded apps on OEM platforms Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with testing in automotive or media device environments Understanding of embedded system software and infotainment systems
