Role Description
As an NLP Research Intern at Finessefleet Foundation, you will contribute to advancing innovative natural language processing (NLP) solutions aligned with the foundation's mission of accessible education. Your responsibilities will include conducting literature reviews, experimenting with existing NLP models, designing and implementing new algorithms, and analyzing diverse datasets. You will also assist in preparing research papers, coding prototypes, and refining algorithms for real-world application. This is a remote internship role, providing flexibility to work from your home location.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing concepts, algorithms, and techniques
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience using NLP libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLTK, spaCy)
- Ability to conduct in-depth research, synthesize findings, and contribute to academic or technical documentation
- Basic knowledge of machine learning and familiarity with deep learning models and architectures
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in designing and testing algorithms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and self-driven work ethic
- Enrollment or completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Linguistics, or a related field
- Prior research experience, project work in NLP, or contributions to open-source projects is a plus
